About Zensyu;

The Zen sect is one school of Buddhism. It was founded by Bodhidhama in India in 6th century and brought to Japan via China by Eizai, Dogen and some other Japanese priests during the 12th through 13th century. The principles of Zen are to seek religions enlightenment through meditation in which there is no consciousness of self. Zen teaching had a great influence on Samurai spirit and traditional culture such as the tea ceremony and flower arrangement.
